Sheanna Long, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, MS
Sheanna is passionate about providing clients with evidence-based care through a holistic, person-centered approach. She integrates techniques and interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and supportive psychotherapy. Sheanna is committed to guiding you on your healing journey through life’s difficult challenges, and she strives to create a safe, non-judgmental space where every client feels comfortable and welcome.

Sheanna is a former college basketball player that played on three different levels of collegiate basketball in multiple areas including Division l NJCAA, Division ll NCAA & Division lll NCAA. Throughout Sheanna's basketball and college journey she overcame hardships in her life that lead to her passion in basketball as well as fitness training. Basketball and fitness has played a tremendous role in her mental health and she believes that your mental health can be improved through behavioral activation.

Sheanna is married with two boys and enjoys spending time traveling to different islands and spending time by water such as going to water parks or taking relaxing swims in the pool. She has a Caribbean background of Jamaican decent, although was born and raised in the US. She loves island food and helping others reach their goals. At this time, Sheanna is serving the state of Florida for mental health counseling as she is a registered mental health counseling intern working toward completion of clinical & supervision hours.
